What Crust stores, and where

Everything stays on this device

Your recipes, dough plans, availability windows, timers, bake history and settings are written to this device's local storage. Crust has no account system and no server that holds your baking data.

Clearing your browser data, or deleting the installed app, deletes that data with it. Use sharing to export anything you want to keep elsewhere.

Analytics

Anonymous usage analytics are off by default and can be turned on or off at any time in Settings. When on, Crust records only aggregate feature usage — never recipe contents, notes, schedules or anything that identifies you.

Notifications and timers

Notifications are scheduled by your device. Crust asks for permission only when you first enable them, and nothing about a timer or step leaves the device.

Purchases

Crust Pro is a one-time £4.99 unlock with no subscription. Payment is handled by the app store or payment provider; Crust stores only whether the unlock is active.

Sharing

When you share a recipe or plan, the text is handed to your device's share sheet. You choose where it goes; Crust does not copy it anywhere.
